What should I do if I encounter issues with the platform (e.g. page not loading, messages not sending, etc.)?

If you are experiencing issues with web pages not loading, messages failing to send or Groups not loading in the CBC Community Connect network (Enhanced Program only), or course completions not showing, try the following steps to resolve the problem:


Clear Your Browser Cache: Outdated or corrupted cache files can interfere with how web pages load and function. Clearing your browser cache can often fix issues related to page display and functionality.

These steps should help address common problems you may encounter. If issues continue after trying these solutions, please submit a help desk ticket for further assistance.


Try a Different Browser: If the problem persists, attempt to access the site using a different web browser. Compatibility issues can sometimes cause problems with website functionality. Note: there are known compatibility issues with Google Chrome. 


Reboot Your Device: Sometimes, simply restarting your computer or device can resolve underlying issues and restore functionality.


Submitting a Help Desk Ticket


When submitting a help desk ticket, please provide detailed information to assist us in diagnosing and resolving your issue effectively. Include the following details:


Sequence: Provide the steps you took just before the issue occurred. For example, 


Example 1

When I entered my login credentials

and clicked Submit

Then a "404 Error" message displayed


Example 2

When I logged into my account successfully

and clicked on "Courses" at the top of the web page

Then the page didn't display the courses

Browser Used: Specify which web browser you were using when the issue occurred.


Device Used: Indicate the type of device (e.g., desktop, tablet, smartphone) and its operating system.
